Elaboration of strategies :: Volyn Resource Center

During the process it is planning to elaborate 2 documents «Strategic plan for Manevychi district development» (Strategy) and „Report about the Manevychi district state „ (Audit).

Strategic planning for territorial communities’ development is modern tool for management, which leads to raising the territory’s competitiveness. A well-developed strategic plan can provide such benefits for a community as:

Easier access to State grants and international programs;
Advantage in investments involvement;
bringing community members together;
Increase in positive image for local managers;
Improvement in community managing.

The process of Strategy elaboration is based on a detailed knowledge of public thought, active participation of local experts and display of processes and results to the majority part of community. This method enables the standards pertaining to the involvement of consultants to be brought closer to the basic requirements of the EU – standards of consultants’ services’ quality ISO9001.

The Strategy elaboration stages:

Organization stage (legislation process, community notification, formation of a panel of local experts),
Analysis of community’s current state (statistics data analysis, total survey of inhabitants and representatives of business, benchmarking, SWOT-analysis),
Community strategy elaboration (conducting of 4 open meetings of the local expert panel on Strategy elements preparation, public hearings).

After District development Strategic plan is elaborated, it will be sent to District council to be confirmed
